Once part of Russia, Ukraine is fiercely independent and located near Russia and Poland, itís not a surprise that the country also produces the world's biggest spirit category vodka.

It is said that vodka was produced firstly in Ukraine in the 1400s, but others say earlier. The climate helps with the raw ingredient production that creates very refined vodkas.
