Origins: Switzerland

Switzerland does not produce many spirits, but it does produce one of the most famous - Absinthe. This spirit is famous the world over for it's mind altering tendencies. Absinthe was banned in Switzerland up until March 2005. It's beautiful countryside and mountains create the opportunity to produce very high quality ingredients for spirit production.
