Origins: Japan

Although Scotland is the home of whisky and Japan is the home of Sake, Japan does have a history of whisky making as the weather and land conditions in parts of Japan's three thousands islands replicates the conditions of Scotland. The whisky they produce is as good as any in Scotland and some would argue that their drive for perfection creates a better whisky, but who are we to comment.
