Nestled alongside the Kentucky River sits one of the Bourbon industry's most historic sites. For over two centuries since Hancock & Willis Lee settled on the site of an ancient Buffalo crossing and first started distilling whiskey, the Buffalo Trace Distillery has continued to release outstanding quality bourbons that have gained acclaim throughout the whiskey world.
In 1999 the first release of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey heralded a major advance in the quality of bourbon crafted at the distillery.

| Production Process | Painstakingly made from a recipe of corn, rye and malted barley in small batches of 35 barrels, every bottle contains bourbon carefully selected after a minimum of nine years of maturation in new, charred oak barrels within the best ageing floors of our warehouses. |
